 I GOT A FIRST!

This is very very exciting and rather unexpected! Knew it was possible thanks to viva but still did not expect! Think I might still be in shock... apparently just kind of stared at the wall with them on for a while until actually grinning, as I have been ever since.

LOL, yes it is. It's the highest class of Undergraduate degree, so the product of three years work. We get them awarded initially on our grades, but if you're on a boarderline, as I was, you get a 20 minute interview to convince them to give you the higher grade, which they did!

Makes a PhD all the more likely.

Conservation, I won't do one straight off, I've got 6 months in Tanzania and hopefully a job of some kind following that too. So it will depend on where I end up, but conservation of some kind.
