Oct. 3rd, 2009 10:02 amSo I finally got round to watching Epaith One last night (I blame those damn monkeys again)
Really wasn't that fussed on it. And not just as an episode of dollhouse, but I didn't really think it made good tv either. It seemed like it was designed to ask lots of questions and get the fans going 'PLEASE give us more' but didn't actually serve as a tv show. I also though Felcia Day, although good, still had some (damn... name, name, name??? Ummmmmm...) potential slayer that she played and I haven't forgotten the name of.... in her 'scared' moments. But tbh, same actress, same *insert Joss' role in both eps here* there are bound to be simularities.
Having said that it might grow on me, if the questions get answered. I think it might be one of those that at the end of S2 you can go back and watch and get a completely differant episode out of it, and then again after S3 (will hold out hope...) etc.
And the little girl playing iris then echo was really good, in my opinion. You could see the differance, and it was a nice twist to the story, that as usual Mr Whedon kept nice and well hidden.
