OK, OK, rediculously late here, I know, OK? But I was in South Africa, there were monkeys, it was a whole big thing, but I'm all caught up now, OK?

Torchwood... first series, meh, take it or leave it. Second series, pretty good, I actually cared when people died, things are moving on. Children of Earth? Completely and utterly hooked! Watched all 5 eps in the past 2 days. AGH, ack, hmmm, and all other manner of OMG noises I am capable of making.

I have v little to do with this fandom. I know next to nothing on the mythology, can't generally keep up with the referances unless I'm acutally concentrating and I think that probably meant I enjoyed those eps more than I would have otherwise. Not that fandoming isn't fun... but damn that was good TV, without over analysing everything nd having any clue even what might be in the series.

*is still squeeing and mourning a little for Ianto...*

LOL I knew you'd love it!

The fandom is scary. And when I say scary I mean terrifying.
I mean people practically out for blood because Ianto has died. Oh and there's a shrine to him outside the tourist office entrance down the bay.
(sadly promised flash-mob protesting Ianto's death did not appear at LFCC. Sat outside for an hour waiting! V disappointed in them)

It was brilliant TV. And I am so desperately hoping there will be more now because seriously, it's getting better every series and I'm no longer mainly watching because Barrowman is pretty and Jack/Ianto makes me happy!... not that I'm in any way shallow obviously... but Series one had some great moments but some very shaky ones (Random Shoes? Sex aliens?). Series Two was much much better (even if I never forgave them for killing Owen. And then Series three was just incredible.
And yay for PC Andy and Rhys getting screen time and being generally epic!

(btw do you know Dollhouse has started again? You'd better be watching that missy since you're actually in the right country to do so this time :P)

As in started here too? Or as in I can watch the US shows online? Remembering I am a poor student and therefore my TV is limited to channels 1-4 atm, although once we find the cable for the freeveiw may be slightly more?

Please give us more Mr BBC-man...
