30 Day Buffy Challenge: Day Five - Least Favourite Female Character

 As far as the characters go I tend to like them all, given their growth and development throughout the series. But I'm going to go with Cordelia, as although I enjoy watching her character (and over on Angel she got far more growth, if, not so good by the end), I don't like her as such.

Awww I love Cordy. Yeah, at the beginning she was pretty much an enormous bitch, but even then, there was something about her that was just so, I dunno, fun and charismatic. I just found her so interesting to watch, and I did really come to love her as she developed, instead of just loving her bitchiness.

Doesn't hurt that she's damn gorgeous.

Yeah, it's not that I don't enjoy watching her, but I know that if I actually knew her, I really wouldn't like her. She never quite loses the "I'm better than you" bit. Which does work for the show.

I like that you separated out liking her as a person and enjoying her as character. I agree that she is a good character but I wouldn't want to hang out with her. At least not as she was on Buffy -- Cordelia on Angel is a different story. However, I have to say that I didn't enjoy watching her as much on Angel after the first season or so.

Thanks. She does fit well as a character, and manages not to be the one dimensional bitch, which is very good. But I still would rather not know her.

Her arc on Angel started good, but by the last few seasons her whole story was a bit icky.
