And maybe I missed the sarcasm, but he doesn't seem as aware of himself, the 'we watch' speech, ummm? Really? With Ten there would have been some comment along the lines of 'but it never really works', but again, maybe I missed the subtlety.
I don't know. He did have that comment where he said "I'm going to do what I always do, stay out of trouble... badly". Which kind of implies that he knows he can't really stay out of it. I'm wondering how much of his 'we watch' speech is a reaction to everything that happened in EOT? That's got to be affecting his psyche on some level.
