That pretty much covers it. I don't think I have enough coherent thoughts to make any more sense than that.

Rory love. I do often want to hit Amy for not making sure he knows he's the one she wants. He's so sweet and caring and awwwww. And understanding. Even if I do wish he would stand up for himself a little bit.

Area 51 bit was pretty clever. Didn't see it coming until the very last second. Plus the Doctor has a beard.

Again River with the running against each other. What, he doesn't kiss her while he's crying that he's going to lose her? That plot hole annoys me because it makes River all about the Doctor. And she's not. She's independent and so doesn't follow him round like a little puppy dog living for the days he arrives. She just doesn't... Unless... she starts distancing herself? Because she knows what's coming? And the Doctor makes a quick jump back out of order to save her life? That could work...

 

Amy? Pregnant... not pregnant? The child? My head thought it must be Amy's child caused by TARDIS travel but who knows. Another part of my head thinks River, and the bit in between thinks both... then my head explodes... again.

 

I say again: WHAT?!

However, she hasn't gotten to that point in her timeline, and neither has he. So it may not be their real actual final kiss, but she knows that it's coming to an end since he's never kissed her before

Exactly. Therefore they are not running opposite to each other and although that is the Doctors first kiss, it is not Rivers last, which she seems to think it is. However clearly I am wrapped up in this plot hole for some reason and will work on it not bothering me quite so much!

That's a very good point actually. I suppose it can be a thing to live for rather than the thing to live for.

Yeah. The way I think about it is when she says there's a last time for everything too, that's referring to a last time coming soon, not that one, even if she means that one. She doesn't know there will be another one.

Exactly. She may live for it, but that doesn't mean it completely defines her.
