Willow!

Perfect example of character development, awkward geek to wicca goddess via boyfriends, girlfriends, strength from magic and trying to destroy the world. I loved her as a geek and even more as the character developed, and into her own person, not just as Buffy's sidekick.

YAY WILLOW! She's my favorite too, though in S6 & S7 I probably liked Buffy just as much. Early geeky Willow is like my onscreen avatar. :) Still, even in later years it was fascinating to watch her character development.

I was so geeky Willow (although less cool) through school. I'd like to think I've developed from that too, although I certainly regress back (Which is not necessarily a bad thing!)

I love Willow! Tara's pretty firmly in the lead as my favorite, but I adore her and Willow, together and independently. I watched the first episode yesterday with a friend, and it was crazy seeing Willow back then! She changes and grows so much, and I've loved seeing it. But still always manages to stay interesting and unique.

I know. Never does she seem to be jumping out of character, but when you watch episodes at either end you can barely tell they're the same person.
