Week off has been nice and most definitely needed. Sort of got everything I needed done. The lack of finding a plain hoody kinda halted the craft plan unfortunately, tried everywhere could think of and all charity shops but no luck... ah well, will have to get thinking on something else.

Job hunting was as successful as ever... or not. It's a little depressing but I am lucky and don't need one straight after I graduate so not the end of the world. Just, you know, 3 years work for this damn degree...

Dissertation has had a lot of attention. Numbers not doing exactly what I want them too, and they need too for me to even be able to do the rest of my project, so would be nice if they would please! Took me quite a while to get back into writing it after leaving it for a month but it's back on track now.

Saw [livejournal.com profile] _stolendreams_ this week too, which is always fun! And doesn't happen nearly often enough! Shakespeare in... 5 months! (Not counting down yet... maybe)

Monday sees the return of library all day I'm not in lectures. Have pretty much decided I'm doing a geography module next semester, which looks like it's going to be very fluffy but is all about what 'nature' is and how we interact with it, mainly focused on agriculture so very very relevant. Although the coursework involves keeping a food diary of everything you eat and where you buy it and relate that to the course aims, which is very very weird. And you have to say how the course changes how you eat, but already I'm veggie as long as it's practical (as in if I'm in a remote fishing village I'm going to be eating fish, if I'm working on a cattle station I'm eating beef, but in a city and general life, veggie), buy our veg and eggs from the local grocer and only that which is grown in England, avoid cow products as much as possible, make practically everything from scratch (exceptions being bread, pasta, cheese and occasional biscuits/crisps). Even grow as much veg as we can, although our gardening skills leave something to be desired so that doesn't always go so well...

I guess we occasionally go out to eat, but even then it's normally to the Art House, which is only sustainable local produce. I'm not sure how much my diet could change, short of becoming totally vegan, but I don't see that as particularly practical. Already use oat milk over cows and sunflower spread over butter, goat and sheep cheese over cow.

My body has also decided it hates me again. I used to get the most crippling period pains when I was 14-15, for some reason they have decided to return and are not being touched by ibuprofen. The kind of full body cramps where everything aches for about 3 days. Not impressed. Took trip to Boots today to buy paracetamol with codeine but I hate having to rely on painkillers and the codeine makes me sleepy so am holding off until at least after dinner. Used to take some sort of herbal thing that used to help somewhat, but I hate taking pills every day, still might ask mum what they were...
